Norse Hall

7pm: Beginner+ Two-Step Lesson
9:30pm: Barn Dance Lesson

8-11pm: Social Dancing with DJ Rachelle

Norse Hall is the PLACE TO BE this week for social country dance in the queer community!

At 7pm (ish) the delightful Terry Felts (all the way from Seattle!)will teach a long form beginner+ two-step lesson, appropriate for first-time dancers on up, practicing basic step and learning some turns and patterns.

DJ Rachelle will play a mix of two-step, line dance, waltz and west coast swing until 11pm!

Around 9:30, Caitlyn will teach the Barn Dance, a fun mixer of a circle dance that is easily accessible to new dancers.

Doors open at 6:50, dancing begins at 7:00.
The cover charge is a suggested donation of $10-$20. No one turned away for lack of funds. Punch cards are available for 6 dances for $50 and 12 dances for $90.

All our lessons and dances are beginner and two left feet friendly. Check out our resources page for examples of the styles of dance we do and our line dance library!

Our Norse Hall location is located up a flight of stairs with no elevator. The stairs and hallway are well lit and the dance room is dim. There are two multi stall bathrooms for anyone to use on the same level as the dance floor, with the bar being on the ground floor. There is street parking, a small parking lot, and bus lines 12, 19, 20, and 70 nearby.
