Door at Norse Hall
Volunteer to greet dancers and take entrance fees for one hour at Norse Hall. This volunteer opportunity is a great low commitment way to engage with our community and meet all the fun faces you’ll be dancing with throughout the night. Volunteer shifts are available in one hour time slots from 7-10pm.

Set-Up & Take Down
Norse Hall requires 3-4 people for set-up and tear-down of the event. Possible volunteer duties include hanging our collection of pride flags, stringing lights, setting up floor fans - and then doing all the reverse for tear-down.
-
DJ
Have and ear for music and a love of country dancing? Try your hand at DJing one of our events at Norse Hall or Escape. Getting to play DJ for the night is a fun way to create an impression on our dancers. All experiences welcome.

Pride Parade & Dance
Our next Pride Event will be in July 2025. More info to come.

Teach a Dance
We are currently seeking new instructors! Areas of instruction needed are two-step, waltz and line dancing. Teachers without previous experience will be vetted and given a trial opportunity. That being said, all experience levels are welcome!

Why Volunteer at Stomptown?
Stomptown is a community lead non-profit organization that cannot exist without the donations of our dancers. We know it is not feasible for everyone to donate financially to our organization. You do not have to make a monetary contribution to participate in Stomptown. Volunteers are most needed at our Norse Hall dances. And as a thank you for volunteering your time, your cover charge will be waived upon entrance. Please check in with our door monitor at your next volunteer shift for more information.
*Not all of our dances include a cover fee.
Make a donation today.
When you donate to Stomptown Dance Association, you are supporting a queer lead non-profit looking to create a long term safe space for all of our current and future dancers.
Stomptown Dance Association is a 501c3. Please contact us if you need a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
